Jenna Ushkowitz is expecting her first child

Actor Jenna Ushkowitz has confirmed she’s expecting her first child, a daughter, with husband David Stanley. The “Glee” alum took to Instagram to share the happy news, revealing her sizeable baby bump in the process. Alongside a stunning black and white shot of the expectant parents, Ushkowitz wrote, “Our hearts are so full… Baby Girl Stanley coming in June.” Several of her co-stars shared their support in the comments, including Kevin McHale, who could only manage crying emojis, and late “Glee” star Naya Rivera’s ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, who wrote simply “Congrats!”
Ushkowitz and Stanley tied the knot in July 2020, with the actor telling Brides at the time, “We were elated and so grateful that we didn’t have to push our wedding and that we got to have the day of our dreams.” She added, “It was such a gift that we were able to share it with our friends and family.” The “Glee” alum explained they were forced to scale everything back considerably, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, even despite originally planning for a low-key ceremony anyway. As a result, “We wondered a lot during the planning process if the wedding we imagined would happen.” Thankfully, everything worked out, with the couple subsequently purchasing their first home together in December 2021. In an Instagram post shared by Ushkowitz at the time, she gushed, “We are so excited to start this new chapter.” Now, their next adventure is about to begin.
