Meghan McCain’s followers point out Joy Behar’s seeming double standard

After Dean’s tweet went viral, McCain had something to say about Behar’s attempt to shame her for her Valentine’s Day tribute to her husband. “It’s pathetic and it creeps me out,” McCain responded in a tweet. It’s worth noting that Behar’s comment has since been deleted.

As one of McCain’s followers pointed out, many other public figures took to Twitter to share warm thoughts about their spouses, including Michelle Obama. “I feel so blessed to be able to spend every day with this guy. Happy Valentine’s Day, Barack! Here’s to all the adventures we have ahead,” Obama shared on the social media platform along with a photo of the couple enjoying one another’s company. It seems Behar did not feel the need to troll the former first lady. Of course, not everyone sided with McCain over the holiday drama. “Imagine spending your Valentines Day having a twitter fight,” one person commented, echoing the sentiments of many.

Of course, the divisive political daughter was going to get some flack no matter what she posted. “Does every thought and sentiment need to be on Twitter,” someone responded to the post, to which Behar said, “Apparently.”

Sharing a screenshot of the tweet from her rival, McCain commented, “Imagine spending your Valentines Day trolling your ex colleagues tweet about her husband.”
